20 Jul 2017

For nature, art and fun, Clarens is an ideal getaway. Find yourselves in a frenzy of art buying, restaurant hopping, cycling, game driving, trout fishing, birding and late night wining and dining.

A visit to Clarens is so rich with experience— here is why:

Walk the Angels Wing Trail – this requires some forward planning and reserving as it’s a 2-day trail. The Angels Wing Trail in Clarens is popular and perfect for a weekend break. Your vehicle can be left at the secure parking lot off the R712 Golden Gate Road. You are then collected and taken up the mountain in a 4×4 vehicle to the Ouma’s Kraal overnight hut.

Cool off in streams and rock pools, enjoy beautiful views and find yourself forgetting all about your busy city-life. There are plenty of other hiking trails, so do some research to find the perfect walk for your fitness level.
