The Sunland Big Baobab

Be in awe of the 1700-year-old baobab trees at The Sunland Big Baobab in Modjadjiskloof. Apparently, when these magnificent trees reach a thousand years old, they begin to hollow inside. As a result, Sunland has created the world-famous Baobab Tree Bar, where visitors can quench their thirst. Adults pay a R25 entrance fee while kids enter for free.

Makapan Caves

Named by the Pedi tribe and directly translated to “Place of the Big Pot”, the Debengeni Waterfalls can be found at the base of the Magoebaskloof Mountains between Haenertsburg and Tzaneen.
